The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber (SWCRC) and Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) value regional partnerships as a means to enhance our entire Southern Wayne County region. We believe that continuing to enhance our strategic partnerships enables us to provide effective workforce development and career technical training and awareness programs in the Southern Wayne County Region. The SWCRC and WCCCD have partnered to create the Southern Wayne County Regional Workforce Talent Initiative (RWTI) program to effectively connect our region’s job providers with strong and motivated talent within our community. The RWTI program brings together key stakeholders from our region’s business, government, K-12 and post-secondary education, and non-profit communities to enhance awareness and drive interest amongst our student population for key career pathways such as the skilled trades and others. Through an effective partnership, employers and education professionals will work collectively to identify critical skills needed to fill future positions in our workforce. The program will enable our community to provide a better life with a focus on our collective economic and social well-being.
