Chamber Town Hall: Next Steps on Wage and Sick Time
The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber is seeking a legislative solution with state legislators and stakeholders in the wake of the paid sick leave and tip credit/minimum wage mandates that have resulted from the recent Michigan Supreme Court ruling as we learn more on how it could impact jobs in our region. As a part of our efforts, the SWCRC has joined a statewide coalition of job providers and advocacy organizations that is working to seek a bipartisan legislative solution to protect jobs throughout Michigan. The SWCRC invites our members to join us for a statewide Town Hall on August 28.
What’s Happening: Join us for a Michigan Business Town Hall meeting on the recent Michigan Supreme Court ruling on minimum wage and sick time.
When: Wednesday, August 28 from 9 to 10 a.m.
