The Junior League Baseball World Series (JLBWS) is a spectacular week-long international tournament held annually for the best teams of 13 and 14-year-old baseball players from around the world. Founded in 1981, the JLBWS started in Taylor, Michigan and is officially the longest running World Series to be held in one location. Some call the JLBWS the "older brother" of the Little League World Series held in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the best teams of 12-year-olds. The tournament participants have come from 29 different states in the US, 4 Canadian provinces and 23 different countries.
