Destination Downriver recently joined the crew of the hit PBS television series Under the Radar Michigan to film for an upcoming UTR episode highlighting Downriver attractions and businesses, airing on PBS stations across many U.S. states and on networks across Canada! The partnership between Destination Downriver and UTR Michigan provides an episode on the Downriver region each season over the next 3 years, and continues to provide outstanding exposure for our region in millions of homes across the U.S. and Canada, driving talent and economic development to Downriver. This exciting episode will feature informative and entertaining interviews with host Tom Daldin and several Downriver destinations and Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber member businesses, including Open Book Theatre Company in Trenton, Big Bear Lodge in Brownstown, Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Downriver Linked Greenways trails in Flat Rock, and the Detroit Salsa Company in Lincoln Park.
