Barbara Rykwalder
DTE-Regional Manager, Corporate and Government Affairs
Barbara Rykwalder is a life-long resident of downriver, and has been an active member of the SWCRC through DTE and previously, MichCon, for 30 years.
Barbara earned her bachelors in mechanical engineering (“BSME”) from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, MBA from Eastern Michigan University, and JD from the University of Detroit Mercy-School of Law.
As Regional Manager at DTE, Barbara is responsible for managing all communities within Wayne County, outside of Detroit. Her role at DTE entails working closely with elected officials, Chambers of Commerce, and philanthropic organizations serving local communities.
