Our Mission

The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber (SWCRC) is the premier Downriver business networking group. We offer business professionals valuable opportunities to connect with regional leaders, meet potential clientele, and build a solid team of reliable and credible vendors. The SWCRC provides valuable resources and opportunities for entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations, including discount programs, access to legal and employment law services, networking lead and referral groups, various networking events, and so much more! We are a vibrant, dynamic organization of over 500 members in the 21 communities that make up the Downriver and Southern Wayne County region. Our membership includes cutting-edge technology firms, manufacturing companies, nonprofit organizations, real estate developers, healthcare organizations, retail establishments, business service providers, restaurants, hotels and much more.

The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber serves as the regional chamber of commerce for the communities of Allen Park, Belleville, Brownstown, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron Township & New Boston, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus, Southgate, Sumpter Township, Taylor, Trenton, Van Buren Township, Woodhaven, and Wyandotte.
