The Unsung Heroine Award recognizes a woman who has had a significant impact as a part of a Chamber member business or non-profit from “behind the scenes.” • Lives or works in one of the Southern Wayne County communities. • Represents a SWCRC member business or non-profit. (Membership must be active for at least 6 months prior to nomination.) • Has positively influenced a program, organization or community from “behind the scenes” with a positive attitude, a willingness to help in whatever capacity necessary, and a commitment to excellence. • Has done good works without expecting an increase in compensation or recognition.
