Thriving Together Action Day 2027
Thriving Together Action Day, presented by Community Focus Federal Credit Union, is an SWCRC community impact initiative that unites nonprofit and business members for an afternoon of hands-on service across Southern Wayne County.
This one-day event pairs nonprofit projects with volunteer teams from local employers, creating visible and meaningful opportunities that will result in a tangible difference. Sponsors play a vital role in powering this regional day of action—helping strengthen community partnerships, elevate local organizations, and showcase a shared commitment to helping our region thrive.
A Day of Connection & Community Impact
This year, we’ll get the afternoon started with the Action Day Kickoff, bringing volunteers and participating nonprofits together before heading out into the community. Our Kickoff Party will give volunteers a chance to grab some food and beverages, connect with fellow volunteers, and get ready for a great day of service. This is also where you’ll pick up your Action Day T-shirt! It’s an opportunity to connect, celebrate the organizations and volunteers making the day possible, and get energized for the impact we’re about to make.
Following the Action Day Kickoff, volunteers will head to project locations throughout Southern Wayne County for an afternoon of hands-on service.
