The JOeY Foundation was created in loving memory of our son Joey, who tragically died in a boating accident at the age of 22. Joey was kind, generous, funny, and deeply loved. In his honor, the foundation was founded to guide hearts through grief—transforming pain into purpose and sorrow into light.
Our mission is to ensure no one grieves alone. We provide free resources and programs to support individuals and families coping with the loss of a loved one. Services include virtual and in-person grief materials, peer support groups, and creative healing opportunities such as journaling, watercolor painting, mindfulness, and poetry.
We also support schools by offering grief education and individualized student support plans following a loss.
The JOeY Foundation is committed to building a compassionate community of healing. Our long-term vision includes opening a grief center where people can gather, connect, and find hope through shared understanding.
