Our mission will be to connect senior humans with senior dogs in need of love, comfort
and care. We believe that most seniors have the time, the love and the perfect homes.
They are sometimes limited by their fixed income and Pickles Project plans to remove
the financial barrier by covering the cost of food and veterinary care for the dogs in our
program.
The Pickles Project was created in loving memory of my sweet Pickles — the most
gentle, soulful, and loving Pit Bull to have ever lived. Pickles should have been the
poster dog for anyone who believes that all Pit Bulls are dangerous. She filled my life
with endless joy and unconditional love, and through this project, her spirit lives on —
helping senior dogs find comfort, companionship, and a second chance at happiness
with people who have so much love to give.
