Nonprofit Resource Roundtable November 2026
To empower local nonprofit organizations, the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber hosts the Nonprofit Resource Roundtable, connecting industry leaders and professionals on key issues and topics. The series provides SWCRC nonprofit members with the resources needed to effectively operate and influence a positive and lasting impact in our community. In a “roundtable” setting, attendees will engage on different topics each meeting and provide best practices and expert advice to colleagues across the industry. Each meeting is free and open to all SWCRC nonprofit members.
Due to high demand and limited space – we ask that participants be from non-profit organizations and that an RSVP has been registered.
Planning Successful & Profitable Nonprofit Events will explore practical strategies to help small and community-based nonprofits host events that are both impactful and financially sustainable. From setting clear goals and creating realistic budgets to engaging sponsors, promoting effectively, and managing volunteers, this session will break down the key elements that lead to success. Designed with small teams and limited resources in mind, the discussion will focus on simple, actionable steps to increase attendance, boost revenue, and avoid common event planning pitfalls.
