Nonprofit Resource Roundtable September 2026
To empower local nonprofit organizations, the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber hosts the Nonprofit Resource Roundtable, connecting industry leaders and professionals on key issues and topics. The series provides SWCRC nonprofit members with the resources needed to effectively operate and influence a positive and lasting impact in our community. In a “roundtable” setting, attendees will engage on different topics each meeting and provide best practices and expert advice to colleagues across the industry. Each meeting is free and open to all SWCRC nonprofit members.
Due to high demand and limited space – we ask that participants be from non-profit organizations and that an RSVP has been registered.
Partnering with Your Board for Success will explore how small and volunteer-driven nonprofits can build strong, productive relationships with their board of directors. This session will cover the roles and responsibilities of board members, strategies for clear communication, and practical ways to foster collaboration and accountability. Designed for organizations where everyone wears multiple hats, the discussion will focus on creating mutual trust, setting expectations, and ensuring your board is engaged, informed, and aligned with your mission.
