Destination Downriver is thrilled to partner with Under the Radar Michigan to host our 3rd annual Tour de Tom bike ride! This year, the ride will feature a special mini tour of the western portion of the Downriver region all while raising funds for the Downriver Linked Greenways! Join us as we welcome PBS hit TV show Under the Radar Michigan’s host Tom Daldin and producer Jim Edelman, who will lead the way from Doc’s Ice Cream & Coffee in Downtown New Boston, Huron Township (37337 Huron River Dr.).
This year’s route will take you through the scenic Lower Huron and Willow Metroparks. Participants will meet at Doc’s in Downtown New Boston prior to the start time. The route will head south on Waltz Rd, then east into Willow Metropark with an opportunity to see the Washago restoration area. Participants will continue to ride along the perimeter of Willow Metropark along the Huron River before following the route back to Downtown New Boston. Stay after the ride and enjoy the delicious treats of Doc’s, and visit other area eateries and businesses in New Boston!
